High-level Site Visit Affordable Housing through District Heating
Time & Location
About the Event
The Dutch ambition to achieve the country’s climate objectives is to disconnect 7 million homes and 1 million buildings from the gas grid by 2050. With more than 2.2 million rental homes, housing companies are the largest homeowner in the Netherlands and, thus, an important partner. This is why 36 housing companies, 5 heat companies, tenant’s association, the central government and municipalities have signed the Starter Engine agreement to connect homes to a collective heat system and keep the heat supply affordable.
Join this online webinar and see how the Social Green Deal is already underway.
We will broadcast directly from a filming studio from the Netherlands and add to the mix a video that will help you visualise what do we mean by affordable housing through district heating.
